Employer Support

People who employ Reserves are vital to the effectiveness of New Zealand's Reserve Forces. Without their support, employees can’t get time off for military training. Both the Territorial Forces Employer Support Council, and the New Zealand Defence Force provide our valued supporters with various channels of support.

National Council

The Territorial Forces Employer Support Council is a national organisation of senior private, public and non-profit sector representatives established by the Minister of Defence.

Regional Committees

In addition to the TFESC, there are 6 Regional Employer Support Committees (RESCs) that report to the TFESC.
